Application to Secondary 2021
National Offer Day for Secondary 2021 is Monday 1st March 2021. Emails and letters will be sent on the day and you can also login to your online account to view your offer from 00.01 on Monday 1st March 2021.

If you have been unsuccessful and wish to make a formal appeal please visit our School Admission Appeals page.
If you haven’t applied already, please complete the Late Secondary 2021 Application Form. If you have applied and wish to submit a new preference, please email schooladmissions@halton.gov.uk with your child’s name, date of birth and the new preference school(s). All new preferences received by 14th March 2021 will be considered together and outcomes will be communicated week commencing 15th March 2021.
Application to Primary 2021
Applications are now open for parents/carers of
children born between 01/09/2016 and 31/08/2017 and wishing to make an application for their child to start Primary School in September 2021.
The
deadline for Primary 2021 applications was Friday 15th January 2021 and has now passed.
Parents/carers wishing to make an application are now required to complete the Late Primary Application Form 2021 which can be found in the link below or you can visit any of the Halton Direct Link Offices to request one. Forms can also be obtained by emailing
schooladmissions@halton.gov.uk

Requests to educate outside of normal age group
For parents of summer-born children (those born between April 1st and August 31st), wishing to make a formal request to educate their child outside of their normal age group (i.e. they start Reception class in 2022 instead of 2021), please complete and return this Defer Primary Application form to

Your preference school(s) will be contacted and a decision will be made in the best interests of the child at the earliest opportunity.

HALTON BOROUGH COUNCIL DETERMINED ADMISSION ARRANGEMENTS AND CO-ORDINATED SCHEMES FOR THE SEPTEMBER 2022 INTAKE
Following consultation, the Council’s Executive Board, at the meeting held on 21st January 2021, determined the admission arrangements for community and voluntary controlled schools for the September 2022 intake, and the Primary and Secondary coordinated admission schemes for the September 2022 intake, which apply to all schools in Halton (Academy, Free Schools, Voluntary Aided, Community, and Voluntary Controlled). Anyone wishing to make an objection to Halton’s determined admission arrangements must contact the
Schools Adjudicator by
15th May 2021 to register their objection. Details regarding the admission arrangements for Academies and Voluntary Aided schools in Halton can be found on the school’s own website, along with details of how to formally object.
