There is a public register of Premises Licence applications. Club Premises Certificates are not subject to tacit authorisation however applications are processed within the statutory period of time following receipt of a fully completed application. Gambling

A number of matters under the Gambling Act are administered by the Gambling Commission and not the local authority. Halton Borough Council is required to prepare and publish a statement of Gambling Policy (“the statement”) they propose to apply in exercising their functions under the Gambling Act 2005.  You can apply online for licence permits.

A Sex Shop, Sex Cinema and Sex Entertainment Venue Licence is not subject to tacit authorisation however applications are normally processed within 14 working days of receipt of a fully completed application. There is no public register of Sex Shops, Sex Cinemas and Sex Entertainment Venue Licence however if you require any further information please contact legalservices@halton.gov.uk
