​Application to Junior School

Applications are now invited for parents of Year 2 pupils wishing to apply for a Junior School place commencing September 2023.

St Bede's Catholic Junior School

St Bede’s Catholic Infant and Junior Schools, Widnes are two separate schools. Although the majority of the children who have attended the Infant School often wish to move to the Junior School, there is no automatic transfer. Attendance at St Bede’s Catholic Infant School does not guarantee your child a place at St Bede’s Catholic Junior School. The admissions criteria for St Bede’s Catholic Junior School will be strictly followed and are detailed within the Admissions Policy on St Bede’s Catholic Junior School’s website and in the Junior School’s Prospectus.

Along with parents/carers of children at other schools who wish to make an application, parents/carers of children in Year 2 in St Bede’s Catholic Infant School must apply for a Year 3 place at St Bede’s Catholic Junior School by completing an Infant to Junior Transfer Form. This should be returned to the School Admissions Team, either by email to schooladmissions@halton.gov.uk or by post, by the deadline of 15^th January 2023. Any applications received after this closing date will only be considered after all on-time applications have been considered. Don’t be late as this may affect your chances of being offered a place at the school.
