Health Improvement Team

Applies to-All schools

The Health Improvement Team have now launched self-harm awareness training for any staff who work with children and young people and have dates available throughout the year.

Aim of the session is

  • To gain understanding of what is Self-Harm
  • To gain understanding of why children and young people Self-Harm/ Risk factors for Self-harm
  • To gain understanding of the Self-Harm Pathway for Halton
  • Tips for Talking to children and young people who Self-Harms
  • To learn about local support services for Self-Harm

Access Initiative Bids 2018/19

Applies- to Head teachers of all Halton Community & Voluntary Controlled Nursery, Primary, Special Schools & Children's Centres

Status – Action/Response required by Friday 27h April 2018

Schools are invited to bid for capital funding for projects which will improve the physical environment of school buildings or access to the curriculum.
