attached a flyer for the Annual Governors Conference on Friday, 24
th November 2017. Please could you encourage as many governors as possible to attend this event. It will give everyone the opportunity to reflect on what we need to do to improve outcomes across the borough. It is also gives governors the change to meet and network with governors and colleagues from other schools.

Winter Ball Supports Child Bereavement Charity

A WINTER Charity Ball is being held to raise funds for Child Bereavement UK.
The charity, which has a centre on High St, Runcorn, is hosting this inaugural fundraising event at the Select Security Halton Stadium from 7pm on Saturday November 25th.
A champagne reception will be followed by a three course dinner, live entertainment, games, an auction and raffle.
Child Bereavement UK supports families and educates professionals when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying, or when a child is facing bereavement.
The Runcorn centre receives one new referral each day on average and the team supports young people, adults and families.
Fundraising officer Seb Farrell said ‘We have many events throughout the year but we’ve never had an out and out fundraising ball at Christmas time, we hope it will help to raise lots of money and awareness of the important work we do locally.’
