Information Items Town Hall Open Day Applies to-All Schools Data Sharing Protocol Applies to-All Schools SENT ON BEHALF OF ANN MCINTYREClick here to view information Dear Colleagues, Please find attached a copy of Halton's data sharing protocol for schools. As you will know the principle of data sharing in the shared aim to support all schools to share best practice, has been discussed at length at both Primary Headteacher meetings and HASH. The sharing of such data will also help to inform regional priorities when bidding for School improvement Funds and to support identification and commissioning of high quality, relevant training. It will also enable schools to work closely in partnership with each other on sector led improvements. The principle of this data sharing agreement has also been shared with Chairs of Governors and with Diocesan Colleagues, who also appreciated the value of such an agreement. All stakeholders involved in discussions have been in agreement with the principle in the shared pursuit of achieving the best outcomes for the children and young people of Halton. It would be helpful if schools could e-mail kirsty.moremon@halton.gov.uk to sign and confirm acceptance of this data sharing protocol. However, we will assume that all schools agree with the protocol unless we hear otherwise. If any school has a difficulty with the protocol or would like to discuss further, please contact either myself or Ann McIntyre. Kind Regards External Funding Applies to-All Schools The funding opportunities with the more imminent deadline are at the top of the bulletin.
